Spring Banquet
The recipients of our programs are recognized at the Excellence in Education banquet courtesy of our sponsors, volunteers and supporters. The event also includes a red carpet walk for recipients, cocktail hour, inspiring speeches, dinner, a silent auction and dancing!
City Tins Fundraiser
CityTins debuted its limited-edition Rockford CityTin in November 2021, online and in brick-and-mortar stores in the Rockford area. Every tin contains coaster gift cards with $5-$10 off purchases of at least $30 at participating local boutiques and restaurants.

Throughout the year, Golden Apple hosts many different fundraisers to continue to fund operations and programs such as grants and recognition. Past fundraisers have included:

In 2023, in addition to Rockford CityTins and the spring banquet, we will host a craft night, several bartender/trivia events, t-shirt sales, Teacher Night at the Rockford Rivets game in August and a First Friday Wine Tasting at Artale in September.
