It's In Everything We Do
Golden Apple Foundation engages community volunteers in our schools so that they may see the excellence that exists and therefore be supportive of our educational system. Hundreds of volunteers participate in every step of the seven-month Golden Apple teacher selection process by reading teacher portfolios, observing local teachers in action in the classroom and participating in team interviews. Community volunteers also read and score grant applications, evaluate Outstanding Principal and Service Award nominations and help plan every event including our spring Excellence in Education banquet.
