2022 Golden Apple Award Finalists

Weston Brabeck of Marengo has been teaching for seven years and has been Guilford High School’s band teacher the past four years.

Monica Benolkin of Rockford has been teaching for 10 years, the past six at Rockford Lutheran, where she teaches orchestra for students in third through 12th grades.

Michael Chiodini of Rockton has been teaching for seven years, all at Belvidere North High School.

Lorrie Hill of PawPaw has been teaching for 29 years, the past two at Eisenhower Middle School, where she teaches students in the special education program.

Wendy Taylor of Poplar Grove has been teaching for 22 years in Belvidere’ District 100, the last 15 at Belvidere North H.S., where she teaches math.
