2023 Golden Apple Award Recipients

Addie Wilson of Loves Park has been teaching for 17 years. She’s taught first and third grade but has been teaching second grade at Thurgood Marshall Elementary the past three years.

Miranda Thompson of Machesney Park has taught for 17 years (K, 1, 2, 3 and 5). She’s been at Parker Center the past 12 years, where she teaches Kindergarten.

Sarah Shoevlin of Roscoe has taught students from first through fifth grade. The past four of her 13 years of teaching have been at Prairie Hill School, where she teaches third grade.

Mallori Sage of Machesney Park has taught third grade at Whitehead Elementary the past 8 of her 10 years teaching.

Crystal Ellis of South Beloit has been at Stone Creek her whole 18-year career.

Emily Daub of Rockford has taught at Kindergarten at Ellis the past three of her 12 years of teaching.
