Golden Apple Volunteer Named Crusader Health Foundation’s 2025 Spirit of Caring award recipient

On Friday, Oct. 24, we celebrated our Crusader Health Foundation 2025 Spirit of Caring award nominee, longtime GA volunteer, Gerald Davies. Gerry devoted an extraordinary 48 years to teaching, with 27 of those years at Boylan Catholic High School as a beloved math teacher and soccer coach. He received his Golden Apple in 2007 and has been a dedicated volunteer here ever since! He also is an active volunteer at Laurent House, an organization that shares Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision of dignity & beautiful living for a disabled veteran. Gerry and his wife, Carol, donated a tree to be the holiday tree for Stroll on State a few years ago. He was among several great finalists, but we’re proud to say he won! He truly displays a spirit of caring in  our community! Thanks for all you do, Gerry!
