Nominate an amazing volunteer for the Golden Apple Jan Jones Service Award

To submit a nomination, please download the nomination form on our website at  https://goldenappleofrockford.com/scholarships-and-awards/jan-jones-service-award/. Complete the form and attach a narrative of up to two (2) pages to it. Explain why your nominee deserves consideration for the Golden Apple Foundation Jan Jones Service Award. Please include specific details. Consideration criteria:

·         Recipient will be considered for his/her volunteer work in fields relating to education or additional fields that serve teachers, students and schools.

·         Recipient will have exhibited a deep commitment to excellence in education in Winnebago and/or Boone County.

·         Recipient will have shared his/her resources, time and expertise in a manner that has had significant impact on education in our community.

Past recipients include the Rockford Rotary Club, Heartland Church’s Sharefest, Teresa Ingrassia, Don Zimmerman & Dr. Richard Novak, Alignment Rockford, Meg Hodge (Andy’s Books for Kids), KFACT Inc., Lori Beach-Grass, the Rockford Kiwanis and Rich Toppe. The recipient of this year’s award will be recognized at the annual Golden Apple Banquet Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Tebala Event Center, 7910 Newburg Road, Rockford.
