The Class of 2023 Golden Apple Teachers designed a t-shirt for area educators and Golden Apple supporters printed locally by Rockford Art Deli. We encouraged people to wear these shirts or other school spirit wear to the Aug. 6 Rockford Rivets baseball game to show their support for 815 Education. Crystal Ellis of Stone Creek School did a magnificent job throwing out the First Pitch and got to keep the ball! The teachers eagerly greeted guests to the game and circulated throughout the stadium selling basket and 50/50 raffle tickets, t-shirts and Rockford CityTins. A competitive group, they exceeded the amount raised by the Class of 2022 last year and had so much fun doing it! p.s. The Rivets won!
